David & Joe's Salon - DaJo is a hidden gem conveniently located across from the Park Place Mall. Joe has been my stylist since I moved to Tucson and was lucky to find him. I love him! He is a master at cut, color, highlights and styling hair. I constantly get compliments on my hair. As an added bonus, his scalp massage during shampoo is to die for! I always look forward to my hair appointments. Thank you Joe!
I found David through a web search for color correction and I am so glad I did! He has been amazing and has not only corrected my hair color but continues to make my hair look great. David listens to all my concerns and gives me several options to ensure I get what I am looking for. I believe I have found MY hair person and will definitely be recommending David to my family and friends.
David at Dajo has been my stylist for years. I would absolutely recommend both him and Joe. Prices are reasonable, he keeps track of my color choice, does not hurry through appointments, and is a genuinely nice and conscientious person.
Lifelong customer!! Been going to David for over 10 years (since I was 25 years old, at Gadabout)! I followed him over to Sola Salons and have referred countless happy co-workers, friends and family. I moved to Vail awhile ago and even tried a few other stylists throughout the years, but can NEVER find anyone who cuts and styles my hair like him. Worth every penny for quality service. I had to do research on salons and hair stylists because my mom is older with long hair she has trimmed herself for years, she was very nervous about who's hands she would be in. Joe had great reviews and a great detailed website, so we went for it. Everything Joe states on his website is true, we are so happy with his services and the result of my moms new look. He listened intently to what my mom said she wanted for a cut and color, and gave similar suggestions so she could make the best decision possible, all the while making her feel comfortable in taking her time, and answering questions and asking them. As a bystander I can tell he loves his job and has a fun and caring personality, so no matter what age you are he would take great care of you. I dont normally write in reviews but to see my mom so happy, I cryed, and I think everyone should know there are still people who love their job and dont treat you like your just another number in the day. My mom will only go to Joe now.

My whole family goes to them. I'm the true addict though - Despite leaving town 12 years ago, David is the only one who cuts my hair! Sure, I have needed a hair cut here and there while I've lived far away but no one can compare. David has supernatural gifts about knowing how your hair will part and fall and grow out. My mom gets color and highlights too, and it always looks fabulous. I haven't gone down that road yet, but I never feel pressured, which is unique among stylists. David and Joe have made getting your hair cut the most fun and comfortable experience too!! They are relaxed, offer you beverages, and are guaranteed for some fun conversation. AND your hair will look amazing when you leave :)
Just relocating from Alaska to Tucson, Arizona. My first job was to find a stylist that uses Schwarzkopf hair color. I am thrilled to say I found this person. Joe at DaJo Hair Studio at Sola Salons. Joe called me before my appt to introduce himself and a warm welcome on the day of my appt. Joe and I discussed what I was looking for with my haircut and hair color. I was completely comfortable with my selection that I encouraged Joe to be creative with both. The result was the best haircut and hair color I have ever had, The hair color is both flaterring and fun to me. Joe also gives the best head massage you will ever have when he shampoos your hair!
David at DaJo Hair Studio has been doing my hair for over 6 years and I can't imagine anyone else touch it. He is very attentive and patient. He always has great ideas for a new current look. His coloring skills are amazing! I would reccommend David without hesitation.

I was in tucson for a week and went to Joe for a color. I gave him my formula which he followed to a "t". Very happy with the results and to top it all off he was a sweet laid back guy. If I am ever in Tucson again he is definitely my go to guy

The first time I sat in David's chair, he talked with me about my expectations for my color and my cut. When I walked out of the salon that day, I was extremely impressed and happy with both the color and the cut. I constantly get compliments on my color and the style of my hair.
